We are located on North Ashland Road in Ashland, New Hampshire, approximately 38 miles north of Concord, and 2.5 miles off exit 24 on I-93. The Village is situated on 109 acres and consists of 104 condominium units in 16 buildings with 48 detached garages. Our site features 3300 feet of frontage on the Pemigewasset River that includes a sandy beach. Many residents enjoy swimming, paddling or tubing on the “Pemi.” There are trails throughout the property for walking, snowshoeing and cross country skiing. Wildlife commonly seen here include waterfowl, deer, fox, and an occasional moose or bear.
We are conveniently situated in the White Mountains region, four miles south of Plymouth, NH. Residents enjoy the many outdoor recreational opportunities in the area. Our amenities include a pool and hot tub as well as tennis courts. For golfers, the White Mountain Country Club is less than one mile away and open to the public. For boaters, Squam Lake (filming location for the movie “On Golden Pond”) is just 6 miles away. Lake Winnipesaukee is 12 miles to the east. Shopping is conveniently located in Plymouth, or nearby in Meredith and Tilton. If you enjoy hiking, there are many trails in the region, notably off Rt 113 heading toward Sandwich or to the north on the Kangamangus Highway near Lincoln. Snow skiers will appreciate the proximity of nearby Waterville Valley and Loon Mountain. Many other ski areas in the White Mountain region are easily accessible as well.
The town of Plymouth is close by and home to Plymouth State University; offering many cultural and educational opportunities. The Silver Center for the Arts offers a variety of musical, theater and cultural events year round. The Flying Monkey Performance Center hosts live music and comedy plus occasional movies. Main Street offers a selection of shops and restaurants. Check out the Cafe Monte Alto, The Six Burner Bistro, or Biederman’s Deli among many others. The Common Man Inn & Spa is in Plymouth, and the original Common Man Restaurant is located in the town of Ashland.
The Village at Riverbend is a registered New Hampshire Condominium Association that is governed by a Board of Directors. Our Board meets quarterly and holds an annual meeting each September.
